MUSIC FIELD TRIPS * * CULTURAL FIELD TRIPS * * THEATRE FIELD TRIPS
FLORISSANT CIVIC CENTER THEATRE -
Willow Brook's 4th Graders attend a musical matinee performance of each year. This helps students meet grade-level-expectations in theatre, drama and communication arts - and supports music and performance as well. Brought to life on stage by professional theatre companies such as New York-based children's theatre company "THEATREWORKS," students learn vocabulary, background information and study ways that books are adapted for the stage. Some productions use puppets, or innovative set pieces to help bring the story to the audience.
The Junior League of St. Louis helps brings this Family Theatre Series to audiences each year. For more offerings visit the Florissant Civic Center Theatre Website.
Willow Brook Fall Concert
Willow Brook's 3rd and 4th graders' concert is set for November.
